Physics in theoretical research and development is the best tool/way to scam $ and fame. Because of it is theoretical, cannot be verified easily. The masses are blind, due to bad scientific education, look the guy had billions evidence to prove light speed.
I am not against applied science at all. But I hate theoretical physicists talking about without them, we don't have internet and iPhone, fuck them all, all those are applied science. All living theoretical physicists in my eye are stupid to not see what I see, and lying about fake science, mislead people, not one righteous soul I met yet.
Nobel for physics is BS. Many fake and false discoveries and theories been awarded. Including the photoelectric. back hole and gravity waves. Look my old posts, you will know better.
Build the modern physics theories based on an orbital prediction to measure light speed in vacuum space from 1700? How did they measure the distance between planets and sun?

I doubt the moon has no atmosphere, hydrogen and nitrogen could be there, without h2o vapor there is no clouds. its atmosphere can be transparency. Maybe its density is very low due to low gravity, but it is impossible for a mass like moon not able to attract gases in the space around it and accumulate into atmosphere.
The space around us/sea level is 99.9% empty space, air molecules only took 0.1% space.
Vacuum space contains nothing, no particles, no atoms, no mass, no energy, no light waves, no force and field, no aether, no spacetime fabric, no curvature, no ripples of gravity waves, no dark matter and dark energy, no current, no plasma, no property. Space is just empty void.
Look among all the living forms we know of, we are the gods.

After all, people thought the earth was flat for long time. And the wise guys from those time found proof to support this belief.

I think doing science must based on what, how, why. Without understanding true mechanism, no theory should be accepting.
All modern theoretical physics theories, GR, SR, QM, electromagnetism, are mainly descriptions without precise mechanism explained.
