I doubt the moon has no atmosphere, hydrogen and nitrogen could be there, without h2o vapor there is no clouds. its atmosphere can be transparency. Maybe its density is very low due to low gravity, but it is impossible for a mass like moon not able to attract gases in the space around it and accumulate into atmosphere.
